Our history
Multiples Hutt Valley was originally known as the Gemini Club, and is the oldest club of this kind supporting multiples families in New Zealand.
1973
Where it all began
We were incorporated in 1973 under the name of the Gemini Club, created to give 'encouragement to mothers twins', with babysitting points and a free dryer!

2008
A registered charity
We became a registered charity in 2008 as the Hutt Valley Multiple Birth Club.
2017
Multiples Hutt Valley
We changed our name from the Hutt Valley Multiple Birth Club to Multiples Hutt Valley in 2017.

2022
Celebrating 50 years
In 2022 we celebrated our 50th anniversary with a party in Upper Hutt for all our members.
2023
Club of the Year
In 2023 thanks to our fantastic team of volunteers, we won Multiples New Zealand: Club of the Year.
