Equipment Hire Agreement

All items remain the property of Multiples Hutt Valley and may not be on-sold, or hired to any third party.

Confirmation of equipment hire is made by email when the required bond/hire fees have been received.

The hirer agrees to maintain the equipment in good working order, to keep items clean, and return items in good working condition. Any issues, defects or damage must be reported by email as soon as is reasonably possible to equipment@multipleshv.org

The hirer agrees to return the equipment on or before the return date, or to arrange the appropriate extension in advance of the return date if available with the Equipment Coordinator.

If the hirer fails to return the items hired by the agreed return date or returns items in a damaged condition, then Multiples Hutt Valley is entitled to retain all or part of the bond.

Should the equipment be damaged to such an extent that the cost of repair exceeds the bond, or to such an extent as to render the equipment irreparable the hirer agrees to pay the difference between the bond and the cost of repair and replacement of the item.

The Hirer agrees to notify the Club of any change of address.

The hirer acknowledges that failure to comply with any of the conditions of hire results in the immediate cancellation of this agreement and the immediate return of the equipment on hire. Multiples Hutt Valley reserves the right to use any necessary action to facilitate the return of the equipment on hire. Any costs incurred in the recovery of items will be the responsibility of the hirer.
