Crispy chicken bake

A quick and tasty chicken bake with filo pastry

Filo pastry can be reheated but it will be soggy. Do not freeze it though!


Ingredients

  • Diced Chicken

  • Chopped garlic

  • Sliced Leek

  • Sliced Mushrooms

  • White Sauce (I make mine with cream)

  • Chicken Stock

  • Filo Pastry

  • Oil Spray


Instructions

  1. Brown chicken and garlic in a frying pan.

  2. Add sliced leek and mushrooms and cook until soft.

  3. Cook white sauce and add in one cube of chicken stock mixed with 1/4 cup of boiling water to give it a more chickeny flavour.

  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken & veggie mix and spoon it into a baking dish.

  5. Spray each sheet of filo pastry with oil and scrunch this up on the top of the pie.

  6. Bake until golden and devour!
