Chocolate chunk cookies with the addition of every other add-in you might have in your pantry at the time...Instructions are specifically for baking with two toddlers.

Go with the flow and chances are that eating bits of raw mixture won't hurt them so don't stress about it!
Ingredients
150 grams butter or margerine
2 eggs
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup wholemeal flour (or just use more plain flour)
1/2 cup oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
The "everything" add ins (all optional, add anything else suitable you might have, amounts of everything can be adjusted to whatever your toddler manages to pour/scoop):
1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (I used 1 block cadbury's dream)
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
1/2 cup raisins (or other chopped dried fruit)
1/2 cup seeds and/or nuts
pinch of spice (I usually add cinnamon) or splash of vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius
Give each toddler a mixing bowl and spoon. Let them each break one egg into their bowl. Extract all the broken shell that you can.
Give one toddler the white sugar and one the brown. Give each toddler a half cup and a clean spoon. Ask them to fill their cup with sugar and then tip it in when it is full. Try not to let them pour sugar directly into their mixing bowl! This recipe will still work even if they add too much or too little sugar.
Ask the toddlers to start stirring - encourage them to hold the bowl while they stir!
Melt the butter/margarine and pour half into each of their bowls. Tell them to use their spoons to stir not to eat.
Get out the flour and oats. Help the toddlers scoop it or spoon it into their measuring cups. Aim for a total of 1.5 cups flour and a half cup of oats (again, the recipe is very forgiving, more flour is OK).
Add the baking powder yourself, that is the one measurement you want to be a bit more exact.
Tell them to keep stirring!
Get out the "everything" add-ins (seriously, all the random almost empty packets in your baking shelf are what this recipe is for). Let the toddlers fill their measuring cups with add-ins and just keep an eye on how much is going in!
When everything is added, take their bowls and combine them into one, give it a really good mix. If it seems way too wet, add a bit more flour as needed. If it seems too crumbly, add a little cooking oil (a very little).
Set up a baking tray and give each toddler a fork. Roll teaspoons of mixture into balls and place on the tray, letting each toddler take turns pressing the balls with a fork (this is way easier then letting them roll cookies themselves).
Bake the cookies for about 10 to 12 minutes, depending on how big they are and how crispy you like them.
