Homemade chocolate buttons

A simple sweet treat to make with your littles


Always have another distraction up your sleeve...

Ingredients

  • Chocolate

  • Cupcake wrappers (ideally the mini ones) or baking paper if you want to do chocolate splats

  • Any toppings - chopped nuts, marshmallows, dried fruit, crushed biscuit, anything you can think of!


Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate.

  2. If using cupcake wrappers, ask the kids to lay them out, or lay out a sheet of baking paper for each child.

  3. Let the children spoon the melted chocolate into the wrappers or blobs/splats onto the baking paper.

  4. While it's still melted, encourage the kids to sprinkle on the toppings, you could even drizzle a little more melted chocolate on top.

  5. Let the chocolate set and then enjoy!
